For Pin Cushion

Pressing against the cushion
the tip of the razor,
pushes,
gently,
against the billowy resistance of flesh.
The cut unfolds neatly.
The blood is red but not shocking,
not crimson, but determined.
It beads up
its full belly full, finally unable to contain itself
runs away into
a slow stream
that tries to escape
heading away from life,
like me.

Big Bang Baby

Filed under: RIGHT NOW — Administrator @ 2:18 am

It’s a new year and I’m so late with acknowledgement.

Never the less, better late than never. It was a rough start as many of you know (if you don’t, aren’t you curious now?) Happy, happy New Year.

There’s much in the works, so keep checking back.

I expected more, and then some, but for now, in the near future please be aware of this titillating matter

• Sometime this spring NEW YEARS DAY, MEDICAL EXAM #17, and A VIEW OF THE BAY will be published in, What I Want from You: Voices of East Bay Lesbian Poets (RAW ArT PRESS)

Questions? Yes, I thought so… Ask away…
