Hell-o Friends and Strangers,
I’ve been busy with all sorts of shenanigans.
To start off my chapbook “Virgin Eyes” is being published and should be available at my upcoming November 3rd reading….Hot off the press, extra incentive to make it out to the November 3rd’s Acker’s Dangerous Daughters reading.
Zeitgeist Press has published some of my favorite writers, Jan Steckel, Julia Vinograd, Jack Micheline, Danielle Willis, and Brian Morrisey just to name a few. I’m both excited and honored to be published by such a fine press.
Ok, so now for the bullet point announcements…
* Don’t forget!! My website has changed. You could previously find me at www.mkchavez.com but now I’m at www.littlebrownsparrow.com (it’s a good sign if you got here though, so I’m not too worried.)
* I have work being published in UNDERGROUND VOICES MAGAZINE in November
* I currently have a poem up on the fabulous Misti Rainwater-Lites run site INSTANT PUSSY #16 and it’s just more bang for your buck at Instant Pussy…Jan Steckel also has a poem in the same issue. So don’t forget to hit it
* I’m popping my POESY cherry in issue #36 which should be out soon
* I’ll have work in poetry journal DROWN MY OWN FEARS in December and March 2008
* Please hurry and order your copy of ZYGOTE IN MY COFFEE #4 while you can. I have work in that issue along with a bunch of HOTTT poets
* I also have work in SNOW MONKEY #19 so don’t forget to order yourself a copy. It’s a great little journal
* You can always stop by and visit myspace there are usually some poems and announcements up on the blog. There’s also a vast collection of pics that will be coming down soon. So don’t miss your chance to check them out, some of them are very funny. Ahem
