My poem, “Everything I Needed To Know About Writing I Learned From Being a Stripper” got an honorable mention in the last Beat Museum Contest of 2007. I figure it’s like good sex without the money shot, it’s still good to have it. So take a peek at their website and check it out The BEAT MUSEUM WEBSITE

Which is better

Where ever you are, I hope you’re warm and not drowning in rain like we are in Berkeley, California.

In the last news flash that I posted I said that I like beginnings and endings…

I’ve been trying to decide which one I like best ever since…So far it’s a stalemate.

In the meantime, here’s what’s new

* one of my favorite writers has reviewed my new chapbook Virgin Eyes, please take a look at the review and check out his work if you don’t know it already. he’s one of the best poets around

* my poem Penitent is currently up on Zygote In My Coffee, check it out and while you’re at it make sure and order your copy of a Zygote’s print commemoration issue, there are only 100 copies— don’t miss getting your copy. I have a couple of pieces in that issue, as well as in the upcoming Spring 08 print issue

* Keep checking Literary Fever, the new issue should be up sometime very soon

* and just another reminder to keep February 9th free…don’t miss the Acker’s Dangerous Daughter’s Reading Series—it’s a great line up, Julia Vinograd, and just another reminder to keep February 9th, free…don’t miss the Acker’s Dangerous Daughter’s Reading Series—it’s a great line up, Julia Vinograd, Cassandra Dallet, and Melissa Hansen
